Product Uses
The chief use of n-butyl Formcel is as a raw material for "butylated"urea or melamine formaldehyde resins. Using butyl Formcel not only eliminates the need for the resin producer to handle butanol separately but also reduces several fold the water that must be removed from the product of the resin reactor.
