Product Uses
About 75% of the trimethylamine produced is consumed as a raw material for choline chloride. Trimethylamine is used also as a raw material for tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide, plant growth regulators, ion exchange resins and dye leveling agents. Trimethylamine is
a catalyst in the synthesis of alpha hydroxy alkyl acrylates.
